Consonant Death - Activity

This activity is based on Richard Cauldwell's presentation Listening decoding 02 Consonant Death - the case of 't' and uses his original video at https://youtu.be/j9w4txMxGTQ. The purpose here is to observe how sound shape of unstressed words changes in fast spontaneous speech, or in 'Jungle', according to R.Cauldwell.
Sound Garden: listen and repeat after the speaker
she‿GAVE‿him‿a‿sheet‿uv‿PAper.
i‿NEED‿uh‿litl‿bit‿uv‿FOOD‿now.
i‿THINK‿it's‿getting‿HOT‿in‿here.
it's‿JUST‿uh‿matter‿uv‿TIME‿you‿know.Sound Jungle: listen and try to repeat after the speaker, choose the right sound "mush" in the middle of the sentence
sheGAVEPAper.
iNEEDFOODnow.
iTHINKHOTinhere.
itsJUSTTIMEyouknow.
Note how /t/ in words sheet, little bit, getting, matter is barely heard and sounds close to flap t in Jungle mode. Here it is marked with ' (apostrophe).
